Try http://www.freecycle.org/ not sure if there is one in your area or not but check it out. They have baby items all the time. Also try http://www.craigslist.org. I hope these two sites help and you can find some items you are looking for. Congratulations on the baby.
You7 should be getting disability and if you are getting disability you should have no problem getting help from welfare. Its not for people with just children. And as someone else said see about Red Cross and if not Red Cross, try Catholic Charities if you have one in your area or HUD.
